Not sold on Turris as a first line centre. Would prefer he was our no. 2 line guy.

Yup... I'm not sure that he's ever going to be able to carry that role consistently.

Having this discussion on twitter right Now. Turris may never be a dominant #1 ctr, but he's what we got right now. He's not good enough to carry team on his own, so he needs depth to help him. No one is. This team will need balanced scoring, it won't all come from Turris like it did spezza.

Turris has been ineffective lately but its a direct result of absolutely no one stepping into the 2nd line centre role to support him. if no one does soon, the season will slip away.

McDavid would be a great consolation prize

We will NEVER beat out the Oilers and Sabres for the loser prize.

I don't know, just have some faith or injuries

The Oilers are currently on an 11 game losing streak.  20 games into the season...

Don't miss 19 at all. Just look at Dallas's fall from grace with him in the lineup.

At least it wasn't wide, but still doesn't count as a shot on goal

I think the word "Wide" has been overused in this game

Why am I not surprised that they are going to lose Alfie's retirement game?

I think no. 19 would look pretty good out there these days.

if he was out there, this team would look exactly like...last year's team, which looked just like this year's team, if you follow me.

 A budget team?
