No, Spence already took a penalty, so was Sens were 1st on PK.
They said "first power play for the Sens"...and my brain did not parse correctly.
I miss my brain.
MY BRAIN HURTS!!!
Jokes aside, I fumbled through confirming my address last week and burst into tears afterward. It is really frustrating and scary to have your brain just completely stop working.
Menopause related? When brain fog start and how long does it noremally last?
Yes.
"Regular" perimenopause brain fog, plus first ever UTI (which is also a symptom of periM and which has cognitive symptoms on its own that NO ONE EVER MENTIONED TO ME!!), plus extreme sleep deprivation...because of regular perimenopause insomnia plus body fighting infection stress. Last week was REALLY bad.
In hindsight, I can recognize cognitive symptoms starting ~5 years ago...coincidentally I moved to WA around the same time so I blamed everything on the different climate and winter darkness. The bad cold I had in June forcibly shoved me into late stage perimenopause and it's just been getting worse and worse over the last 8 weeks. And this stage can last anywhere from 1 to 5 years.
Took a CBD gummy, another first, last night (was cold turkey supplement sober last week while on antibiotics) and got a sleep score higher than 40 and a rating higher than "Poor" for the first time in months. I feel certain that my increased brain issues of late were/are directly related to lack of sleep. I've agree, yes, there are definitely unique, measurable, and observable symptoms of periM, but that "simple" lack of sleep makes everything 100 times worse. I'm hoping if I can get the sleep under control I'll have a better baseline to measure just how good/bad I am.
The internet says nearly all the symptoms are not the *loss* of hormones but the radical fluctuations. Because the hormones ain't coming back so if my body can't get used to the new normal after the rollercoaster stops just take me out the wood shed and put me out of my misery. Please!
And, just for fun because I'm single-handedly on a mission to dispel stereotypes now, something like 25% of women never have a hot flash during periM. That is *not* the "gold standard" symptom that the stereotypes would have you think it is. I have never had one, even though my hypothalamus *is* a little out of whack since all this began, just not full-on hot flashes.

I remember years ago when I was a sales rep, and wore a tie every day, one day out of the blue I couldn’t remember how to tie it. I had been tying a tie everyday for a decade, then one day, it was just gone. I had to get the instructions out to do it. Then the next day, no problem. It was silly, but it kind of freaked me out.
