NSH picked up Struble **today**. ****THIS**** is the kind of **** my brain really can't handle right now. I'm like, "Wait, I KNOW we played against Struble in preseason...but we didn't play NSH in preseason...what is going on?!"
When I hear Struble, I think Russell's Strudel name for Stutzle.
Exactly!
I was about ready to say "Oh, it's another Strudel/Struble game" and then knew there was no way I was remembering something from last season.

I find the roster list that shows up after pick drop to be accurate. Any roster 'projections' before then are garbage.
Just ran it now and got the same results (which is good because waiting until the NHL rulebook mandated 20-minutes-before-puck-drop would not have been a sustainable schedule for me 😂), I need to play around with the API because it looks like the "active" roster can actually be >23 if some of them are labeled injuries. OTT is only carrying 23 right now but NSH is carrying 25.
But Burakovsky being activated tonight could also explain why we didn't see immediate movement on Eklund.
Working on scoring the last game but there's a whole "cognitive" issue going on. As in, Cathy can no longer math and is having a mental breakdown as a result. 🤪 😭
Also, kinda surprised to see Eklund still on active roster. Somebody remind me to re-run this script at puck drop to see if I'm running it too early in the day to get accurate results.

We may have to put Cathy on the LTI List
So here's what happened...the painkiller was 3x day and the antibiotic was 2x. Since I'm "in bed" (***not*** to be confused with SLEEPING) 8 hours, I did the painkiller at wakeup, midpoint, and bedtime. My brain told me, and I would have gone to grave believing it, that 2x per day was wakeup and bedtime. So I was taking the antibiotics 8 hours and then 16 hours apart.
For three days.
Woke up this morning, it clicked, and I just burst into tears. Having your brain — what used to be a pretty good brain if I do say so myself — just fail like that is...so many adjectives.
I keep thinking "this is the worst it can get" and then it just gets worse. And I can't even supplement with caffeine right now.
