Okay, that's what I thought. And then, since I didn't realize it was sung on Sunday, I assumed it was because of today. But now that doesn't make sense.
I wonder what changed.
Maybe it depends on the singer? I know last year they switched to instrumental only for Kids day because they didn't want to get the kid booed.
Last week Linden Slewidge was doing the anthem and only did the Canadian one. US was the intrumental one. I wonder if the singer can refuse to sing the American anthem.
It's only the past couple games I hear the American anthem being sung.
