Cross checking has to be the most ambiguous penalty in all of sports. Yes, it’s a penalty, but it is so randomly called. 10 will be ignored and then one called out of the blue.

What we should be doing is calling out the officials for being so damned inconsistent. Of course it comes back to one thing the referees suck
I would love to sit with a ref, watch a game tape, and ask him why that one and not the others?
if they tell you there’s degrees of cross checking then we should be able to take a stick and hit them in the back with it and let them know how it feels
