Do you need to swap some boob lights back in, or hide some space heaters?
Mostly smart switches, WA electrician standards are insane. It's not just a lease thing, it's illegal for non-owner occupants to replace light switches.
And some nails holding things up on the patio.
I was expecting the annual inspection in May, and they give a week notice. This is a financial inspection related to the Covid CARES act? WTF? And they only gave me two days notice.
16 units of my style, 4 are EMPTY, I'm the only one getting the random inspection. Not a happy camper.
The part I find nuts is that they would actually keep a record of what light switches the owner actually installed!
Yeah, I have no idea how it's actually enforced. I assume if your landlord doesn't check/care it only becomes an issue it if is the source of a fire.
Unfortunately it's super obvious in my apartment. Even though it was built only 6 years ago they use the old school switches, not the modern rockers so the smart switches STAND OUT terribly. My apartment has NO smart home features.
That’s an emergency 🆘 situation damn near life threatening
I ran over for pizza and salad because I'm in emergency mode. I won the "random inspection" lottery so I'm running around switching out all the illegal mods in my apartment.
I really needed that pizza.
