umm.... ok, so Talbot is hurt and Forsberg comes in. Super!

Who gets the call for the weekend?

 I would guess Sogaard

Alex Auld.

Ha.  Maybe Darth Gerber has a game in him?

 Matthew Spezza?

Curtis McElhinney?

Maybe we can try to draft/sign Mathieu Chouinard for a third time?

Wasn't Gord Wilson our designated emergency backup for awhile?  Bet he's available.

E: All of the above

Just block out the whole net.

 They'd still lose.

Thundersnow happening here tonight.... startled the crap out of me

 That is so weird, ThunderSnow?!?!?

Yeah, it's pretty rare even here, but super cool to see when it does happen

Do you see actual bolts like a rain t-storm or just the clouds lighting up?

it's more like sheet lightning, but if you are looking in the right spot you can sometimes see a bolt.   It looks very different with the snow in the air, too

With the reflection off the snow on the ground, it lights things up for that flash.

 Sounds fun, sign me up!

So is that not something we get here?

It sounds cool and since doggo is unphased by fireworks I'm looking forward to a good rock and roll t-storm.

a friend of mine has an exchange student from Spain staying with her right now. He asked her a few days ago if winter was almost over. Poor kid has no idea....

Reminds me of one of my nieces when she was at OttawaU and stayed in residence.

There was an exchange student on her floor, knocks on her door.

Him: "Do you have a rubber I can borrow?"

Niece: "Excuse me?!"

Him:  "You know a thing to erase"  Makes an erasing motion.

Niece: "Oh you mean an "ERASER".

Lol, wouldn't have been as funny if it was female exchange student.
