I heard a disturbing thing on the radio today. Not only are older nurses retiring early because of the stress of the last 2 years/covid, but new nurses, who have had the last 2 years as their initiation to the nursing life, are changing theirs minds and deciding to quit because its been so difficult. we will be facing a major nursing shortage in the near future.
