Zub shoots the puck, hits Driedger in the face and then off the crossbar. Dean and Gord thought it was in.

Ha.... I said that to a coworker today in a different context.  We got reorged a few weeks back under a new VP, one who happens to be female.

Two days ago they launched a new recognition app at work where people can go in and send little "thank you" notes to each other for going above and beyond.  Today we realized that our VP is reading all of those, and she is responding, personally thanking people for their contributions.  It was.... a great feeling.

Saw an article a week or two ago that compared Seattle's draft strategy to Las Vegas. The author could not figure out why Seattle would not have followed the Las Vegas model.

I use premium for the sled and boats, so I’ve stocked up 30L and will stabilize it for the summer so that I’m not going broke to go fishing. Thank goodness my car doesn’t need it. I imagine all the trucks and large SUVs used as grocery getters are costing a fortune to run.

All because a man has a mental illness (paranoid delusional etc) and everyone is afraid of him. He’s sick and he’s changed according to officials who’ve worked with him. This is all so sad and stupid

If gas prices don't come down, I imagine my RV will be staying in storage this summer

oooh, I can redeem some of my stash of PC points for gas now. That's perfect timing.

Oh, so I walked past the price board for the gas station across the street… $5.65 yesterday morning, $5.75 this morning.

$1.90 here today now.  What was that math again?  1.90*3.79*0.78 = $5.62, so yep, we are still tracking

One of my brother heard that the price of gas could fall a bit tomorrow.

I hope so, but... March Break starts this weekend, so seems unlikely

Is that Spring Break? Or do you guys have some special March thing in addition to Spring Break?

March Break is what we call it for Elementary/High School kids.

Reading Week for College/University, and that's usually in February.

The book readings gone wild videos are crazy.

In Ottawa the schools ( both Chatholic and Public) have two breaks. Next week and April 15 - 18. Ones called Spring break and the second one Easter break.

An extended break in two consecutive months? God, kids have it so good.

Diesel was at $2.04 here today.  It's getting nuts!

Great interview with Parker Kelly just now: mentioned his CHL and all the coaches in Belleville by name as the people who have helped him get to where he is now.

My brother and my nephew both use premium gas. They are dying.
