The project I'm working on involves moving from a home-grown Excel solution to a SaaS database setup. It deals with money so each month is self contained and once you move on, only the software support team can delete the month if you need to redo it. We had a significant error that necessitated me asking them to trash all of 2021 data Tuesday. We slammed all the data back in on Wednesday.
Just a couple hours ago I go to look at another part of the program and it's somehow ROLLED BACK to three weeks ago. This should in no way be affected by deleting the months. Deletion is a completely separate process from rolling back to a backup.
Thank GAWD I happened to have an Excel export of the lost data. They're going to rebuild it from that. But we can't move forward until they fix it tomorrow morning.
Support was like, "Hmm, that shouldn't happen, I'll tell the Dev team." Gee, YA THINK?!
