 Wait, is this real??

OMG, it is.

You would be amazed at how many Canadians get their basic understanding of laws and rights from watching American TV

Which reminds me, what in the hell would make someone think throwing a bike at a 600-lb animal, that could literally stomp you to death, would be anything other than a really bad idea?

inhaling 3 weeks of diesel fumes.

That does seem like lead-poisoning-induced decision making now that you mention it.

I officially told my boss I'm taking PTO starting Mar-10...

and coming back in April.

Nice!  A long break is always amazing, but especially when you've been super busy.

Yep! The original plan was to take the last three week of Feb but my slacker co-worker is making this project drag out soooooooo far past the original schedule. Basically told my boss I'm going to get the project to a useable state and then check out. It's too much work for one person, coworkers only puts in 1-2 hours per day, and she took a 6-week vacation last summer so...yeah. My turn.

Also hoping the world is minimally crazy enough to take a recon trip up to TJ's neck of the woods.

Kat, I was thinking this morning...are you still waiting for news on your hand? I can't remember if the last update was the final diagnosis.

Still waiting, yeah.  I go for the ultrasound on Wednesday.  So depending on how long it takes to get the results from that, I MAY have an idea by the end of the week what is wrong.

Happy thoughts, for a definitive diagnosis and treatment!

Same here Kat, I agree with Cathy on the Happy thoughts for all that

I would think raising your blood pressure with high intensity aerobic activity would hurt enough on its own that everything else just blends in to the dull ache.
