35G in 50GP against the Sens for Ovie. Most for any active player in the league. Ugh.

Curious about my Canadian peeps...how do you guys do your taxes? Is it like us, you get a bunch of different documents, plug it into software and voila?

Pretty much unless you're self employed.

T-slips are income. There are various types with T4 being the common one for income.  You get one for each employer you had in the year.  It details how much you made (gross), plus other taxable benefits.  It also shows how much deduction there was for income tax, employment insurance and Canada Pension Plan.

Then there are credits/deductions you can have.  RRSP (401k equivalent) defers your taxable income, Tuition, donations, etc...

Tax return is due at end of April.  if you owe anything, you'll be charged interest. I've always gotten a return and never had to pay any extra.

Yikes, if you owe *anything* there's interest?! We only get hit with penalties if we under withhold by >10%.

Only if you're late submitting/paying.  If you pay what you owe before end of April, you don't pay interest.

Did my late brother's taxes last year.  That was complicated.  I actually submitted two returns.

1. Income received up to when he passed.

2. Income owed to him by employer, but payed out after he passed.

By splitting it, it made a difference of about $1,800 in our favour.

I just noticed there's no mask mandate in The District. confuse

It’s crazy, watching Green Bay game and it’s COLD and stadium is packed full and you can easily see every ones breath going for a long way

Bro works for a company testing employees three times a week, but no vax mandate and no mask mandate. Coworkers dropping like flies (positive test not literally dropping dead) spurred bro to get his booster this weekend...after being exposed twice in the last 5 days.

 Yikes 😱

It gets better, newly IPO'd and they missed their Q4 projections because like 40% of the plant was out positive.

Also, bro thought the exposure window was still "15 minutes unmasked". I had to educate him.

Man….some soft plays by the Sens this period are really getting scary. So different from the first two periods.

May I direct you Exhibit A, the MTL 1st round draft pick from last summer.

Business is crowding out integrity more and more each day.

yeah, it's pretty crass  (5 letter word)

But you tried grass first, right?
