My guitar player got covid. Said he's had worse colds, but he was down with no energy for 2 weeks.
To the anti vaxxers and people say it’s no big deal 2 weeks is a long time to not feel normal. I don’t want this damn thing
there's no way I, like many, could afford to be out of commission for 2 weeks.
And I'd venture to guess it's more than 2 weeks when all is said and done. You think you're back to 100%, start acting like it, then realize...nope, I'm only at 75%, time for a nap. You can still "function" and get through the day, but not comfortably.
2 people I know got COVID in December. Both ended up in hospital with pneumonia. One was on a ventilator for 3 weeks. It's going to take him a while to get back to normal. Both were not vaccinated. I'll take the reaction to the vaccine over what they went through any day.
