Eh, the Cali teams go east more than once. We might go to *Ottawa* only once but the Kings will be there later in the season that could handle a make-up game.
Maybe they are only in Eastern Canada this once? Not sure, haven't looked at the schedule.... but yeah, at this point, that shouldn't really be the deciding factor.

But Detroit, Winnipeg, Minnesota, and Chicago are all *reasonably* close, yeah? At least closer than a one-off trip from LAX.
Detroit, Buffalo, New York, and New Jersey are probably the better options geographically
