Got an interesting note on my door from apartment management today...
Exterior building work between Dec 1 and Jan 5, stairwell access and access to your apartment may be restricted between 8am and 5pm for the 19 consecutive days on construction.
Um, what?? Locked in, or out, of my apartment, for the better part of a month, during the holidays, while they perform work that can be delayed by rain, during the winter. Is Punk'd still a TV show?
That seems... less than ideal
Just a little, huh?
I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt, for now, and assume the note is just really poorly worded and what they actually mean is one of the two stairwells may be closed at any given time and while they are repaving directly in front of my door they may request that I stay on one side of the door or the other for an hour while the material sets.
If the note plays out literally, I'm gonna raise holy hell.
