 lol - that one gets everybody.  Means the refs were blowing their whistles a bunch on a play -  like an old school London Bobby stopping a thief.

Also, what kind of weather you guys getting? Pretty mellow in SoCal, would be close to a proper storm on its own but since it's the blunted edge of "worst storm to hit west coast ever" I can only imagine what it's like further north.

 I'm in Vancouver and from what i can it's an entire month, perhaps 3-4 of rain right now.

Upside, it puts the fires out. Downside, the ground previously on fire will be effectively relocated to the next county.

 A couple of my co-workers are on the Island.  They both disappeared mid-afternoon.  We assume they probably lost power....

The montage song on TV right now is "Slow Down Town" and opening line is about it shutting down at 10pm.   Sounds kinda late

 Mountain Time was almost the perfect scenario. 

The ones in the middle give me trouble when it comes to the maths.
