ok, so I know the Tkachuk contract news is a big thing today. But... could we talk about the game, maybe? Not fanboy about Brady the whole night?

@Homer -- Is there an easier way to count new guys than going through the NHL game notes and looking for the acquisition date of the name I don't recognize? I'm up for the research (today is my weekend, long story) just don't want to be inefficient on purpose.

Probably have to wait until tomorrow and lookup HockeyDB

Ooh, I read the game notes a little closer and there's a line with "11th NHL / 1st OTT Season"

So, a little Ctrl+F later and...

1st OTT Season: Holden, Sanford, Del Zotto, Shaw

2nd OTT Season: Pinto (12 GP), Kelly (1 GP)

So that would make 5 new guys including Kelly, pending trades or other callups.

Like I said, I'm out of practice. I really should have seen myself walking into that one.

Ennis is a nice, spare part player.
