I'm really tired of all these online gambling commercials.
90% of regional broadcasts in the USA are owned by a casino. I think they already have gambling stats (numbers? I don't gamble, don't know the terminology) in lower-third ticker.
I'd love to return to a time with JUST online gambling commercials.
I wish they would go back to the days where pretty much all the commercials were beer or car commercials.

I can't decide if I want this insane heat to break so that I feel like going outside to do things.... or if I want it to continue so I have an excuse to not go outside to do things
I was outside last two days and feeling drained.
How are your friends in Calgary coping?
It's rough out there because most people don't have A/C. But the advantage they have is that it cools down at night, so you at least get some relief.
adding - although that is part of what is so tough for them in this particular heat wave, it is only going down to 18-19 degrees, which is much hotter than they are used to.
Pools are very busy.
My limit is ~21C overnight, that or higher and there's just no relief. We're getting the very fringes of this heat wave so the daytime isn't bad but I was surprised when it was 23C at 8am today.
I was out hacking around in my yard this afternoon. Neighbour asked if I wanted to go for a swim. Decided it was to hot and went back inside.
