This is the only series I'm paying any attention to. And that's only because Spezza and Thorton are playing.
Yeah, I've been watching some of the others, but nothing else has been that interesting so far. Funny what difference a year of not seeing any of the US teams at all makes.
Worlds is very entertaining, if group played ended today (halfway point): CAN/SWE going home and GER/SUI second seeds.

lol - Gigabit, but yeah.... still amuses me some days that I'm complaining when my download speed is ONLY 300mbps
I have a more complex setup with a firewall and multiple subnets to isolate upstairs (wired work laptops, personal PC, NASes and printer) from rest of house (wifi and wired network that goes down to basement for nephew).
I apply QOS rules to prioritize upstairs network over other one. Rogers TV box is outside of all that.
Also have another isolated subnet for an Ark server, which I need to get working again.

Gigabit is technically available to me, but I'm currently paying for 100x10 that maxes out at 50x7 so I'm not inclined to give them 2x money to hit my data cap that much faster. Google Fiber is available too, but they installed the drop on the kitchen wall and it's exceedingly inconvenient for any wired connections.
oh, I don't have a data cap. Unlimited internet is kinda required for these internet-based tv services.
But I'd be willing to bet I pay WAY more for mine. Internet and cell connections are pretty expensive up here.

modem restarted, tv box restarted.... this should get me through the rest of the game.
I REALLY need a new modem....
But if laptop wifi was fine then it's the tv box losing connectivity?
no, it's totally the modem. even the laptop was having much lower than normal speeds, it just tolerates it better. I have to reset the modem at least once every 2 weeks because even my work laptop that is hardwired to it starts having SUUUUUPER slow internet.
And I'm not currently getting even close to my 1GB connection speeds. Like right now, even after a restart, I'm getting 110mbps down, and.... oh, 0.07 up. lol.
so my laptop seems to manage ok for the most part with that, but the tv box is much more sensitive.
