 OK. I was wondering.  Geographically if Edmonton would have won the division it would have made sense to play the West. 

I guess to make it legit and not be called on "gaming the playoffs" they needed to have it locked in before the playoffs started. With the NHL though, you never know.

 They’ve sure relaxed the rules on betting down here in most states. In Washington state where I am you can’t bet on line on sports yet.
