Average shots per period

EDM = 15

WPG = 8

Winning with WPG's average happen occasionally, but it's not something you want to rely on in the playoffs.

In contrast, with 15 left in the 3rd:

BOS = 14 shots, 2 goals

WSH = 34 shots, 1 goal

So apparently it's all a crapshoot.

 Both of these goalies have been standing on their heads.  But giving the Oilers this many SOG is just risky.

 WPG laughs in the face of risk!

Oh, heads up in case you tune in to Battle of Florida tomorrow...75% capacity, 12,000 people.

 Yes, that would be the emoticon I was looking for. I mean, it's Florida we're talking about so logic has no home there, but it seems like expanding in 2-week increments to, you know, see if case counts are rising, would be a better strategy.

 I was also debating   or

Don't know if the Oilers will go the distance, but I think they're gonna take at least this one.

I tried rewinding to get the time for the "floor is lava" but my feed wigged out and started playing dual audio.

Line change, puck unexpectedly heads toward the bench, both the guy going off and the guy coming on hop up on the sideboard like their feet were on fire.

I'm particularly looking forward to the tomatoes ripening. There's nothing quite like a tomato fresh off the vine.

oh, I also bought a hanging basket of strawberries. mmmmmm

Yep, if you've only ever had grocery store tomatoes, you've never had a tomato.

There were TWO containers of strawberries in my box this week.

 now I'm wondering where strawberry picking falls on Covid restrictions.....

Uncomfortably, allowed. I know fomite transmission isn't an issue but I did want to ask the farm, "The kids with the grubby hands have a separate area to pick from, yeah?"

 I'm guessing under our latest "outdoor recreation allowed" model we might be allowed again here.... and by the time the fields are open, we'll be allowed gatherings of 10, but....

 Yeah, our strawberry season is spring so when they reopened last year I was like, "uhh, we sure about this?"

Wait a minute, I just realized they didn't only shrink the seat coverage banners...they replaced them too. They were blue in the regular season.

Yeah, I'm quick tonight.

 ooooh, good catch.  I didn't even notice that change.  Which is weird, because I commented a couple of times on how sharp the ones in Winnipeg looked compared to most.

I remembered Forsberg's color-matched pads.
