Are you guys less Puritanical about naughty words on broadcast TV?
Sometimes a mic will pick-up the odd F-bomb.
But do you lose your collective **** and fine the TV station into oblivion when it happens? I think FCC delay is 7 seconds so I'd assume that's why NBC in US is behind NBC in Canada.
I don't think there's fines. Regular TV shows can have swear words past a certain time. Live broadcasts might have different rules. It's not a big deal here. Although they did have a delay on Don Cherry when he was still on TV. That was from people complaining, not CRTC. lol
Then, yeah, it's the FCC delay. America...shoot up a school, all good; Dale Earnhardt Jr. says, "It don’t mean **** right now. Daddy won here 10 times." and the world ends. I actually think it's an NBC decision to avoid the FCC fines, rather than the FCC mandating it.
