 yeah, went from something like 3L total (3 bags) to 4L (still 3 bags). 4L is a gallon.

I was so confused when I moved to Alberta and they didn't have bagged milk.  But it made my milk jug a fun party game of "can anyone guess what the purpose of this is?"

 Or can you guess what the purpose of this is and what it's called (without reading it on it)

 Wow.  Minimum wage is set provincially here.  Lowest is Saskatchewan at $11.45, highest is Nunavut at $16.00, but they don't really count because of their size and location.... so highest of the major locations is Alberta at $15

 oh for sure, and cost of living is significantly lower there.  We pay a premium for basically everything up here.

 True.  Our bags of milk are more expensive than your bags of milk.  lol

Not really. At least not directly. The vast majority of unemployed people aren't just saying, "F it, not gettin' a job and you can't make me!" People can afford to be more choosey, a large number of the open positions are hospitality and there just aren't as many available hospitality workers because they moved on to other jobs when they were furloughed and they're not eager to return to an industry that can literally evaporate overnight, people are still concerned about the safety of going back to high-occupancy workplaces, childcare is still an issue because schools and daycares aren't back to pre-pandemic capacity.

I'm sure there are more than a few shortsighted people who will ride the UI payments and then panic because "they didn't know" it was ending but it's not all "I can make more money watching The Price is Right."

 Those are great points - especially child care and hospitality workers

 i heard that a ton of people left Cali when they lost their jobs cuz it so expensive, and its hard to find staff now for places re-opening. 

I know more people taking their CA WFH paychecks to lower COL areas and more people leaving because of the "socialist" governor than people leaving *just* because it's expensive.
