The Mel Blanc Show (Old Time Radio). I remember when they re-played these on Sunday afternoons on I think CBC Radio? I'm not that old to have listened to the original broadcasts.

Russell, you can listen to these while working in the shop.

Do you guys wonder, when for instance we're like "they played pretty well in the 1st".... did they, or have our expectations just been REALLY lowered in the last few years?

Honestly, as long as they are competitive and not getting blown out, I’m fine. Didn’t expect any more than that this year.

One of my big regrets of fatherhood was that I couldn't get my daughter to like the cartoon classics. God knows I tried.

That's too bad!  Some cartoons (especially 1970's Hanna Barbera Scooby Doo clones) are fairly boring to watch with today's eyes, but Mel Blanc era Looney Tunes shorts are timeless.

She did like the scooby doo movies but they were awful. they don’t count.
