I was still living in the Ottawa area when the Senators were looking to move out of the Civic Centre into a new building and I remember how the NIMBYism was just brutal. The original plan was to build an arena in the city centre but they couldn't get it done so they had to build it out in Siberia (Kanata) instead and now some people are bitching about how long it takes to get to and from games. They should have got it right the first time!
