Looks like it's the forums. Copied the link and opened in IE, no issue.
Opened the forums in IE and clicked on link and got the viglink. (but only if I click on it. if I right click, open in new tab I don't get that viglink. So there must be an "onClick" javascript or something.

Just noticed something on Chrome. to the far right of the address bar there's a notice.

Also checked the page source and Activeboard is loading a javascript api from viglink
Bah. maybe I'll switch back to Chrome for using this forum, anyway then. Firefox doesn't seem to be blocking it unless I block EVERYTHING

Yeah, just bumped up my Do Not Track settings in FireFox, and now it's gone... but so are all the emoticons on the forum. lol
