Bottom 4 or whatever, we do have to remember this is hard contact collision sport and don't want to expose to more injuries than you have to.

Do you think the league should have a pre-playoff tourney or something for the bottom feeders trying to 'win' the first overall pick? Might make the last few weeks (or months) of the tanking more interesting and a chance for some teams to have psuedo playoff games for fans?

heck yeah, it would be exciting for fans and it would sell out arenas too.  Just think if the bottom 4 had a round robin in the McDavid year the crowds that would have came out for that.

Boy if the Sens needed this game and that penalty had been called on Ottawa that was just called on Detroit I'd be having a Russell type fit on these idiot refs. What a horrible call.

here's some analytics from Twitter: I know Stone is good but can anyone explain why this says he's good

You know who has quietly had a brilliant season? Ottawa's Mark Stone.
- 2.98 points per hour at 5v5
- 51.5% Corsi (team avg. 47.2)
- 54.0% goals (team avg. 43.9)
This has been today's episode of Good Seasons Lost On Bad Teams.

Lol I bet Lidstrom is feeling dead inside watching this. Can't someone get that man a drink at least? He doesn't even have popcorn.
