He is definitely not recovered.  He may never be his old self again after that kind of surgery, but I think he came back too soon.

 He’s got 17 pts in 13 Games

 which is the crazy part!

its not so much a comment about him as it is about, maybe, how the team is playing with him in line up.

or, its got nothing to do with that. just speculating.

Not sure what his plus/minus is but he seems to be on the ice for a lot of goals against.

good observation he‘s -2 going into tonight

That's a factor too, for sure.  They were starting to figure it all out... then he came back, and they forgot everything they had learned.

But he is not getting back, he's fumbling plays, and he is not moving at his old speed.  He has been directly responsible for several goals recently.

Shows how only McDavid and Sid are better than him when he’s at full speed

it could be that when he's out there, they expect him to do it all, or they might be trying too hard to get the puck to him, instead of playing as they were. The D were scoring by just getting the puck to the net.

Yeah they're leaning on him too much right now and he can't handle it.

I could tell yesterday vs. The Coyotes... he didn't have his step. I think he'll be ok long term but the Karlsson from last year won't be back for a while....

remember at the beginning of the year, when EK65 was still out, and the team was playing such a strong, team game? And the PP was scoring?

We had a 'santa parade' yesterday evening and it was -16 with the windchill so yeah...

Ours was yesterday too... about 2 degrees and raining... which became snow overnight.

I stayed home.

Took me 20 minuets to get the snow off the car and scrape the windows. I went to the store and back faster than that.

cry me a river. I had no heat in the cab of the limo bus. my feet were frozen and I couldn't keep the windshield unfogged. wasn't much fun.

 Were your clients impressed.

they were pretty drunk so they didn't care. They had heat.
