I'm moving in two weeks so I feel your pain Kat. 2nd time in 18 months so hopefully this one is a more permanent landing spot.

yeah, those quick turnaround moves are brutal.  You feel like you just got unpacked, and you are putting it all back in boxes!

Anybody want to come to Calgary and help me start decluttering and packing?

so you found a place in Kingston?

I haven't got one locked down yet... not moving until June 1st.  Just need to start the process - I'm paranoid that way

We moved a year ago and get rid of everything you haven't used or looked at in a year, except real sentimental items

ha... This will be my 4th move in 4 years.  There's not a whole lot left.

WOW!! That is tough.  I once moved when I was single 6 times in 2 years and coast to coast twice.  Seattle to Miami and Charlotte back out to SanFrancisco so I empathize w you

yeah, Ontario to Alberta, twice within Calgary, and now back to Ontario

I'm considering getting rid of a few pieces of furniture and stuff, though.... buy new stuff this time.  It's just such a pain!

especially for heavy large items that will cost a lot for shipping.  Might as well put them up on Kijiji and get something for them if you're not attached to any of it.

yeah... I just bought the couch and loveseat, so those are coming, and my bed cost a fortune, so that's coming... but a lot of other stuff I might just get rid of.  I'll know better once I have figured out where I'm going to live too
