This market/owner can definitely not sustain half empty arenas...
I guess a new arena in the downtown would have boosted attendance by sheer proximity, novelty, increased tourism if they slap a casino in and around it... but that's what 2-300 years away?
I get so irritated with people insisting the location is the reason for poor attendance this year. The arena has been in that spot for 24 years. Let's think about what has changed....
location will help. but they just have to stop sucking. tix are so expensive. you can't blame anyone for not wanting to shell out $$$$$$ for a boring night out. esp with xmas coming.
Exactly! If I lived in the city I would be less inclined to pay the prices they are asking right now.

I've been seriously considering that i will stop watching sens games until they start to play better. Just think there's better ways to use my time. I'm almost there.
It's been a frustrating season. They have a winning record... but they are playing like crap

Thank God the leaves had one high-scoring win this week otherwise cherry would have no players to talk about from the GTHL or wherever he says he watches them when they were 8 years old and could see they'd be NHL'ers

I'm there too... and yet I watch. I guess that's the same feeling a lot of Sens fans have since the building is so empty on regular basis.
