Duchene numbers over last 4 years

23G and 70 points  They made playoffs this season
21 and 55
30 and 59
and this year 16G and 36 points and a -18 (after tonite it's a sparkling -20.)

He just turned 26 in January and I have no idea his UFA status or his salary--(6Million per for 2 years after this season)

His numbers look like Hoffman or Stones numbers

Sticking point on Avs-Sens trade for Duchene right now is White

I'm picking up more chatter about a potential Senators-Avs trade involving Duchene. We'll see

This is from Avs reporter Adrian Dater in Denver, Thursday evening 9:30 Eastern Time. Ottawa time

I don't like moving White or Chabot, cheap labor moving forward is needed especially from good players.

Yeah that hit was super ugly and super blatant. To be honest I was surprised, the refs usually like punishing the jets. Lol Trouba flew at him with his elbow above his head, I don't get it.

IF YOUR NOT OUTRAGED (like me) THEN YOUR NOT PAYING ATTENTION!!!!!!!

The jerk who tried to take Stone's head off got a whole 2 games. That sure helps Ottawa, why the stripes on the ice can't see a major penalty on that when Stone has the puck is stupid. That's where you penalize, is on the ice at the time.

Nice contract. Good term and a slight team discount. He wanted to stay, and I think he saw the writing on the wall with the contracts coming up that he couldn't go nuts on the AAV.

I'm impressed with that contract. Great signing, and a very reasonable price.

Sens sign Smith to 4-year, $13M extension

and some of you were talking 4-4.5 / year.  3.25 is a good deal for a consistent hard worker who produces.

absolutely great deal for sens. really surprised they got him that low.

awesome deal, he's going to probably have back to back 20 plus goal 🥅 scoring seasons too
