I'm kinda surprised that Cherry hasn't taken credit for the thumbs up yet.

Grapes is so out of touch.... his rant about the Kessel tweet was just sad.

"You just don't do that"... well Don, the last time there was a World Cup, twitter wasn't a thing.

Personally, I thought it was brilliant.

Every family has a Don Cherry type. Some old dinosaur who is completely out of touch but the other family members just politely agree with him because they know there's no point trying to change him. I'm not the Don Cherry in my family yet but I will be some day. I'm kind of looking forward to it.

But it's perfectly OK for him to publicly call out team execs for for leaving this or that player off the team.

Not specifically for WCH2016, but how many times have he said "what were they thinking not having this guy on the team"

He calls out players for celebrating too much, yet how often has he shown past clips of CC about something then give himself a big pat on the back and say "See, see I was right, if only they would listen to me"  or shows pic of him with a kid giving a thumbs up and says "I saw him play when he was 15 and I knew he would be a great player.  Look at him now..."

Yes Don you deserve all the credit, if it wasn't for you, he'd be flipping burgers now.

And for the record... my cat is not mad at me tonight, because she is allowed to sit on my lap.

You only have one cat!?

 at the moment, yep.

They do better in pairs. I'll send you another.

I've actually always preferred them in pairs.  This one is a rescue, and she and I are just getting used to each other, so I plan to wait a bit before getting her a companion.

Yeah, no. That doesn't work for me. I'll send one now.

How exactly do you ship a cat cross-country?

I fling it.

oh, you can send it with Pan and Canuck when they come on their road trip.
