Wonder what Trotz will have to say about this. I would love to see him answer the first reporter who asks him if he still believes the pukes get preferencial treatment with a "I rest my case".
Especially considering they suspended Orpik 3 games for basically the same thing. But this are the penguins and of course, perrenial Norris Trophy Candidate Kris Letang...
Letang gets one game
See they nailed a Pen, no preferential treatment here. Nothing to see here either

Letang laid out a guy tonight with a headshot, only got 2 mins. Let's see what the league does this time. remember, they let him off the hook recently for a slash to the head. Spin the big wheel!

What? Penguins getting preferential treatment from league. What foolishness. Sens fans can assure everyone that the pukes never get special treatment by the refs or league.

Our old goalies are doing pretty good. Spezza's not doing to bad either.
Thing that gets missed with regards to Elliot.
Yes he's an ex-Sens, but we traded him to Colorado and got Craig Anderson in return. Colorado on the other hand, did not give him a qualifying offer and let him go at the end of the 2010-11 season after playing in only a dozen games for them.
So Colorado essentially let Anderson and Elliot go for nothing.
Also Elliot also has a good team in front of him. Kind of the opposite of Montreal.
Bishop on the other hand, that's a different story. Unfortunately for Ottawa, at the time we had a surplus of goalies and not a strong demand for goalies by other teams.
elliot is a better goalie now than he was then. Good for him. Bishop was a mistake by player evaluation crew in Ottawa, or more correctly, Lehner was overly evaluated.
See!!! Russell's right again!!
its not a coincidence.
No not a coincidence. Miracle maybe, or a complete fluke. But not a coincidence.
