Kat, did you see Matt Hendricks' lower body injury last night?

Sure did.... that looked absolutely NASTY.  The fact that he came back and played is astonishing.

Kat - did you have to work late tonight?

Well... depends on how you look at it.  I was supposed to leave at 2:30 because of all the extra time this week, and didn't get out until my regular time.

So in one way yes, but in another no....

Yeah, I just don't see this one as a win.

3-1 Isles, Hamonic with the GWG because it's his first game back from an injury.

Do the Islanders have any new NHLers that have yet to score their first NHL goal? Then maybe you should pick them as the game winner ha ha

They actually played rather well 2nd and 3rd period last night. But 4-3 Captain Highliners. And if Tavares is in a slump, you know he will score.

A game they have no business winning, so which means they probably could. But they know that we know that they may be able to pull one off and will instead lay a slightly less rotten egg.

4-2 Isles
GWG: Tavares (because he's in a slump), Honorable mention to Lee.

i agree with Pan. There's no reason to believe this team will win tonight, so they probably will.

3-2 Sens. Stone with winner.

All of Kards's points are valid. The team shouldn't come close to winning. 6-2 Sens Zibby with the winner. Why? Because the Sens always tend to do the opposite than they should

Team played last night, the last game of a 5 game east coast / west coast / east coast road trip, and now they have the 2nd of a back to back as the first game at home.

Turris and Methot didn't play in NJ.

Apparently, there was a lot of cursing after the 1st period, including players at each other (according to Zibby post game interview).  Not good.

Senators 4, Islanders 2

GWG: Stone
