They lost today strictly on discipline issues. They couldn't keep their heads about them.

well that sucked

Throughout the tournament the Canadian team was undisciplined, could not kill off penalties and it cost them.

Goaltending wasn't strong, D wasn't either.  They never made the adjustments needed after round robin, where there were glaring problems.

Everyone? or everyone in the GTA?  every player linked to the leafs until the play a game for them is the greatest thing since sliced bread.

As we were watching yesterday my brother commented that Team Canada this year looks like they're coached by Spezza.

In front of the net? Drop pass
At the blue line? Drop pass
Surrounded by the other team? Drop pass
Open net to shoot at? Drop pass

Pierre McGuire has really been talking up White, it's great to see him play well. I'm pulling for he and Chabot.

Ottawa connections: Thomas Chabot (Senators 2015-1st round pick) is at camp and playing today, as is Ottawa 67 (and Philadephia 2015-1st round pick) Travis Konecny.

Some soon-to-be-ruined Leafer by the name of Marner is playing too.
