1) we had a steady parade of visitors from mid-morning until early afternoon, so we had a lot of breakfast/brunch to make
2) the wind chill was more than a bit numbing, and
3) the snow started mid-morning (15-20cm by the time it stopped overnight)
....so we decided to call off ice fishing until our next trip, by which time the hut should be installed and working. I did have a good little tour on a sled this morning, and was the first one on that bit of trail this season. ;)
