It did for a while but Germany doesn't have much talent. Afraid one of the better teams may have seen that and use it against them.

I think he is having some problems with the free wheeling style. The dull NHL trap, dump in, defense first style he has had to adapt to has screwed up his offensive game.  I hope that as the tournament goes on, he recovers some of the scoring touch he seems to have lost.
