Supposedly Murray turned down the drek Vancouver got from the Ducks, the Ducks wouldn't budge from giving Ottawa back their No. 1 pick at #10. Murray has to be wondering just what the heck he's going to get for Spezza now.
I wonder why teams want quantity over Quality in trading a top player, if I was a team I'd want 1 player who is a top top prospect and forget all the fill in crap--like the Iginla for Joe Nieuwendyk trade from years ago
Vancouver gets a guy in Bonino who was a 5th round pick by the Sharks and was a throw away to get a rental from Anaheim a few years ago. Sbisa isn't much at all, the 24th pick in a down draft isn't much either. GMBM has to be very very disappointed if that's all Kesler brought back
Thanks Kat for the updates-- Anaheim took Vancouver to the cleaners and if this Ritchie turns into a star they'll have taken another Canadian team to the cleaners especially if Ryan doesn't turn it up for the Sens.
