I was happy to see the defensive play improve tremendously over the course of the season.  Not giving up a goal on the first or second every fourth game was also a refreshing change.

Staios made some nice pick ups to help the team into the post season.

I agree with Homer that I didn't expect them to go far in the playoffs.  Maybe that's why my emotional investment is not fully restored yet.  Overall I'm pretty pleased with how it went and curious about off-season moves.

1st half was iffy, looking like they were going finish 3-5 spots shy of a playoff spot.  Lucklily 2nd half was better.

Playoffs, they were not ready for this level of gameplay, even though the OT games made it seem closer.

Hopefully they can improve.  I wonder which veterans will be back and at what price?

It was a really good season and it was exciting. Overall, the goaltending really was a lot better than the last decade. I think you said it on a previous post they need another finisher but where they’re gonna get it who knows. Losing that number one draft pick is going to hurt. (thank you Pierre Dorian) They really have nothing coming up in the system other than the young defenseman they drafted last year. I think Travis Green really did a good job in getting the team to play with structure and not be so scatter shot on defense. Depth everywhere is a problem, especially if they get injuries so bottom line I don’t know what they’re gonna do.

Ok, lets hear your thoughts on the season as a whole, and on where they may/should be going.
