We have a generator so we were able to keep the fridges and freezer cold, charge cell phones and plug in coffee machine and toaster. Lot of BBQing. Lots of flashlights. No TV and Internet was tough.

Thanks Kards, appreciate the thought. One of my cousins lives not too far away, so if I'll ask them to check in if she doesn't respond soon. I'm guessing she is without power and her phone is probably dead.
