Just heard a great line. In the NHL, they play for mortgages. In the AHL, they play for alimony.

Just saw on Twitter that it was 12 years ago today that Daniel Alfredsson signed with the Detroit Red Wings leaving the Senators. A dark day in this club‘s history, and it was all because of one man.

 I’m going to be my ever optimistic self and think he plays a lot better this season than he did for the Senators He’ll go back to the way he was playing with the sharks. 🦈
