I skipped through Reimers but the part I saw...he looked joyful enough to almost make me forget about his anti-pride sentiment. 😒

Really good interview with Ullmark. Ullmark: The playoffs were the first time this season where I felt like myself – TSN https://share.google/TdoFo7qrPgVYDzHkj

I think I'm facing geographic discrimination, but found a few quotes on reddit...

--In the playoffs, it was a surreal feeling being at the top pf your game and still losing.

That would be sad in any year but after the year he had, it's ****ing heartbreaking.

he's extremely honest, open and thoughtful in his answers.

One interesting thing he said was that he believes the slow start had something to do with after making the playoffs last year, the team maybe took it for granted that they would be back this year, and that they didn't realized for a bit that nothing was guaranteed. Hopefully that lesson was a one and done.

 Arrogance, in hockey? No! lol

That's like when Niedermeyer and Selanne took half the 07-08 season off and thought they'd be able to repeat.

I need to dig around and see if I can either find the interview un-geo-locked or bypass with a VPN.

Dammmmnnnnnn, Chabot out 4-8 weeks.

Told TJ the other day I was worried about a broken bone/fracture. cry

Buuuuuuuut…they said 4-8 weeks instead of the alternate phrase available. Upside? (aka. "Faith"?)

Okay so they didn't actually say broken bone on the broadcast but news articles say "broken arm".

Last night, the Sens average roster age was 28.9 years.

This morning, it's 28.3.

And that's only because Chabot and Thomson are still listed as active!

Those numbers are straight from the Media Notes, I'm probably going to drop the roster into Excel later to figure out the average without those two.

Donovan and Yakemchuk are the youngest on the team by 2 and 3.5 YEARS.

This is either going to be really ****ing fun or really ****ing heartbreaking.

it really does feel like the universe is against the sens.

r/hockey - [Johnston] The NHL has modified the penalty against the Ottawa Senators for the invalidated Evgenii Dadonov trade: The sens will now pick 32nd in the upcoming draft, regardless of where they finish, rather than forfeiting their 2026 first-round pick entirely

huh. interesting. My gut tells me  buttman told Andlauer about this before the draft but they kept it quiet until now so that it didn't look like he was doing him a favour.

it’s better than a poke in the eye I guess, 32nd overall rarely does dit unless it’s Pinto. I hate being on you guys’ eastern time for sports
