Looks like the NHL will not reveal teams' protected lists for the Expansion draft. 

TSN were also talking about what Canadian teams will potentially leave unprotected.

Ottawa could be in tough forcing to leave Methot, Wideman and Boro unprotected on D.  Phaneuf has a NMC, so has to be protected.  Not sure if they are allowed to ask him to waive his NMC to leave him unprotected.  Karlsson is obviously going to be protected and Ceci is still young and hasn't reached his potential yet. 

Toronto has it a lot easier, most of their best players are exempt from needing to be protected.
