NBA does the same thing Senior, I'm watching my favorite team the GSWarriors try and repeat and the amount of non called fouls as compared to the Regular season makes it look nothing like the same game. Β It goes both ways LeBron James has been getting killed going to the basket and the refs have swallowed their whistles just like the NHL. Β Steph Curry gets held out right off the ball and nothing is called and these are the 2 main stars in the NBA at this time so good luck to lesser players ever getting a call unless its just plain obvious
The NFL and MLB call it the same from Reg Season to Playoffs but NBA and NHL are a joke in my opinion. Β
One of the reasons I don't watch a lot of playoff hockey (except if Sens playing) is that for what ever reason, the refs decide to let way to many blatant penalties go. As far as I know the NHL is the only league that plays by different rules in the playoffs than in the regular season. And now, football!
I think the message we can take from Pittsburgh's win is that when you get the right coach who understands how to use the talent on a team, you can get much better real quick.

Martin Jones made sure the Pukes had to go back to California but if the Shark D doesn't stop doing a Sens D impersonation it's just delaying the inevitable. 46-22 Shots on goal advantage for Pitts.....

Haha yeah. Pens winning will cap off a horribly disappointing playoff run on the whole. Wanted to see Thorton and Marleau at long last getting rewarded... ah well. Now we'll never hear the end of this from CBC.
very disappointing. I'm looking for Marleau to score an own goal tomorrow nite in Pittspuke and the Sens v Anaheim comparsion in the Finals will be complete
