There was someone at my husband's work who used to hook us up with straight-from-the-farm smoked bacon and omg it was the best thing I've ever tasted.

Many languages have useful words that don’t have an equivalent in other languages. For example: Kummerspeck (German) Excess weight gained from emotional overeating. Literally, grief bacon.
